A blog of creative endeavours be they joyfully hand made gifts for family or friends or attempts at new to me media. A place to post what I create with textiles or mixed media through ongoing learning and experimentation. My mind is never still, I continually seek new activities to enhance my lifelong joy of learning, living and gifting. If any of my works inspire you then thats wonderful. I've heard it said that copying others work is a compliment, I disagree, though it is a great way to learn a new technique. I learn much from the generous people who post videos on Youtube. Once past the learning stage I feel one need take the inspiration they find in others work and work it further, add their own personal touch to it. Ask oneself how do I take these techniques learned and push, pull, bend and stretch them into my own? Happy Creating!
